Description:

Key Accountability:

• Source and procure of Project Related Items, Machinery and Maintenance spares.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, PO placement to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with the Factory team to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet Requirements against Requisition.
• Co-ordination with Interaction department, solving Vendor grievance and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Evaluate supplier performance and build strong, sustainable relationships with vendors.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing, and market changes to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Streamline procurement processes and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Require Skill and Competency:

• Proven experience as a Purchase Engineer in the PP raffia industry or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies and sourcing methods.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers.
• Ability to analyze market trends and data for informed decision-making.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
