Description:

• Determine and perform assigned quality control procedures
• Have responsibility for all maintenance, quality control, correlation studies, and method validation on all instruments and procedures within the division
• Perform weekly data reviews and updates of inventory data
• Mentor and train laboratory technicians
• Provides clinical and administrative oversight to laboratory supervisory personnel and administrative assistants
• Review of all proficiency testing 
• Review of all performance improvement activities
• Provides oversight to laboratory supervisory personnel for the maintenance and updating of all Clinical Lab policy & procedure manuals
• Conducts staff meetings on a regularly scheduled basis
