Position Details: Maintenance Head

Description:
- To execute equipment, process, and human safety in his/her area of work.
- Plan and execute planned maintenance, shut and down maintenance of equipment for ensuring 100% of equipment availability.
- Responsible for the day-to-day CBM TBM activities of assigned areas as per plan.
- Shutdown resource planning and execution of activity to complete in scheduled time.
- Spare planning and critical job planning.
- Preparation of annual maintenance plan, Budget plan, and improvement plan for assigned area.
- Completion of planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities for all equipment in assigned area.
- Tracking consumption patterns of critical spares, planning for their availability, for cost optimization inventory control.
- To prepare for RCA of all critical equipment breakdowns and ensure implementation of CAPA identified within scheduled time through resource planning.
- Implementation of improvement plans for assigned areas to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and safety morale.
- Managing on-site facilities team and third-party subcontractors ensuring they complete tasks on time and safety to required quality standards.
- To close all safety fugues within the required time frame for the assigned area.
- To implement all suggestions of the respective area after checking feasibility.
- To provide required training to departmental associates for improving their skill set and knowledge base.
- Preparation of departmental documents record maintenance for different external internal audits like ISO, and TPM TBEM.
- Preparation of improvement case study representing the organization at different come competitions
Technical Competencies:
Equipment Maintenance, Failure analysis, Strategic and analytical thinking, Knowledge of rolling mechanism and rolling mill equipment i.e., lubrication/hydraulics/bearings, /compressor/gearbox, /pneumatics, tools and tackles, etc.
